Refund policy
1. Overview
Whiteroad Developments Pty Ltd ("WRF", "we", "us", or "our") operates the online store at https://whiteroadfans.space (the "Store"). We are committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with every purchase. This Return and Refund Policy explains your rights, our obligations, and the procedures for returning goods and obtaining refunds.
This Policy is governed by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) as contained in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), and, where applicable, by the consumer protection laws of the European Union, including Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights. Payment processing is handled by Stripe Payments Australia Pty Ltd and is subject to Stripe's applicable terms.
2. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

3. Voluntary 14-Day Return Policy
In addition to your statutory rights, WRF offers a voluntary return window of 14 calendar days from the date you receive your order ("Return Period"). To be eligible for a return under this voluntary policy, the following conditions must all be met:

4. European Union Customers — Right of Withdrawal
If you are located in the European Union (including Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, or Spain), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days from the day you, or a third party indicated by you, physically receive the goods, without giving any reason ("Cooling-Off Period").
4.1 How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email) before the withdrawal period expires. You may use the contact details provided in Section 10 of this Policy.
4.2 Effects of Withdrawal
Upon receipt of a valid withdrawal notice, WRF will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (except for any additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery option), without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days from the day we receive the returned goods or proof that the goods have been dispatched, whichever is earlier.
We will carry out reimbursement using the same payment method you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of this reimbursement.
You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal. Return shipping costs for change-of-mind withdrawals are borne by the customer.

6.1 Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days of WRF receiving and inspecting the returned goods. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
6.2 Stripe Payment Refunds
Payments processed via Stripe will be refunded through Stripe's payment infrastructure. Depending on your card issuer or bank, the refund may take an additional 5–10 business days to appear on your statement after WRF has issued it. WRF has no control over this processing time once the refund has been submitted to Stripe.

Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable, except in cases where the return is due to a fault, error, or defect on our part, or as required under applicable consumer law.

WRF offers exchanges for items of equal value, subject to stock availability, within the 14-day Return Period. To request an exchange, please follow the return initiation process in Section 5 and specify the item you wish to receive in exchange.
If the requested exchange item is unavailable, a full refund will be offered instead.

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged in transit, or different from what you ordered, please contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery at contact@Whiteroaddevelopments.space, providing:
WRF will arrange a prepaid return label, at no cost to you, and offer a full replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with the ACL and this Policy. Claims submitted after 7 calendar days may still be assessed under your statutory rights.
10. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly at contact@Whiteroaddevelopments.space before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback with their bank or card issuer. Many issues can be resolved promptly and without the need for formal dispute processes.
If a chargeback is raised through Stripe, WRF will respond to the dispute in accordance with Stripe's dispute resolution process and will provide all relevant order and delivery evidence. Fraudulent or unjustified chargeback claims may result in the suspension of your account.
Stripe's dispute resolution procedures are governed by Stripe's terms of service and the applicable card network rules.
11. Return Shipping Costs
Unless the return arises from a fault on our part (e.g., defective, damaged, or incorrect item), return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as WRF cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit during return. Original shipping costs are not refunded for change-of-mind returns.
